5 December, 2019

"I amsatisfied.Very satisfied. It is my way of doing business. Seeing it recognized makes me happy [...] Projects of social and cultural value, aimed at the enhancement of the female world such as Woman In Power or the projects in favor of the schools in our area." Elisabetta Cozzi.

On Thursday 5 December, at the headquarters of the Lombardy Region (Palazzo Lombardia, Piazza Città di Lombardia 1), the award ceremony was held for the companies that have passed the preliminary phase of the Good Practices Lombard Award for Social Responsibility 2019, in the presence of the Councillor for Economic Development of the Lombardy Region Alessandro Mattinzoli.

85 companies in Lombardy have been awarded prizes, including the Fratelli Cozzi Museum, the only company in Leghorn that has been awarded a prize, for "Environmental sustainability projects, initiatives in relation to Civil Society and the Territorial Community" and for the "Women's Companies" category.

"I'm glad. Very pleased. It's my way of doing business. Seeing it recognized makes me happy -said the director of the museum, Elisabetta Cozzi - Morici in her book says that the enterprise is a living being. I believe that too. For this reason he has to take care and worry about everything he interacts with, to give and to receive. This is the first time that the Museum has been awarded as an independent company. This result consolidates the experience of ethical marketing and communication adopted with previous projects such as, for example, Woman In Power, which had already been awarded in the past".

SCHOOL VISIBILITY

On this occasion, the Lombardy Region and Unioncamere Lombardia awarded the Responsible Companies for their social and environmental commitment with the delivery of a certificate of merit and their inclusion in the Online Repertory on the website www.csr.unioncamerelombardia.it, a real showcase of prestige and visibility on the territory, linked to the sites of the Lombardy Chambers of Commerce and the Lombardy Region. It is a unique tool of its kind, based on communication, transparency and sharing good business practices with all interested parties.

"I am really pleased to reward Lombardy's entrepreneurial realities that once again stand out for their social responsibility actions in different areas, from corporate welfare to social and environmental impacts, with positive effects on the territory. The companies awarded this year, from large to micro, with a particular focus on women's businesses, have shown, on the one hand, continuity in accompanying sustainability actions and, on the other, a strong interest in investing in CSR. Improving the quality of life of its employees, the ethical-social and environmental impact are key elements of the business of many companies that the Lombardy Region is happy to collaborate with the dissemination of good practices". Councillor Alessandro Mattinzoli commented on the initiative.

In addition to Councillor Mattinzoli, the President of Unioncamere Lombardia Gian Domenico Auricchio, Elena Stramentinoli (RAI journalist) and Giovanni Francesco Martoccia of SGS Italia were present at the award ceremony.

Moderato d'eccezione, the actor, trainer and presenter Germano Lanzoni, former face of "Il Milanese Imbruttito" who coordinated the ceremony for the delivery of the certificates.

"This is thefirst time the Museum has been awarded as an independent company. This result consolidates the experience of marketing and ethical communication adopted".

This year we were also pleased to participate in the 33rd Student Day, which coincides with the awarding of scholarships to the Fondazione Famiglia Legnanese, where 153 students were awarded for a total of 219,000. "On the territory - the president of the Foundation, Pietro Cozzi, is sure - there is no foundation with such a scale of investment in cultivating talent. Every year we are surprised by the figures collected and the constancy of donors". " Entrepreneurs and investors - echoes Gianfranco Bononi, president of the Legnanese Family - are the first to believe in this initiative and tell us to continue on this path".
