The elegance that conquers
24 November, 2019
Corrado Lopresto and his ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA SZ "CODA TRONCA" won over the public and the press with their elegance, in a glamorous evening that recounted the search for Beauty.
An absolute silence in the hall and an audience completely enraptured by the Beauty told by Corrado Lopresto architect and entrepreneur from Milan, considered the most famous Italian classic car collector in the world.

His collection includes unique pieces and particular exemplars, strictly Italian, that have conquered the elegance contests all over the world. The evening was moderated by Rino Drogo who we had the pleasure to meet at the MotorShow and now collaborates with the Museum.

Lopresto made a great gift to the Museum by exhibiting, on the occasion of the evening, the stupendous "ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA SZ "CODA TRONCA" PROTOTYPE of 1961, designed by Ercole Spada, with Zagato bodywork. This model was made even more extraordinary by the fact that it was only half restored, thus restoring value to the work carried out first for its discovery and then for its preservation. But all the cars that become part of the Lopresto Collection are subjected to in-depth research, made possible thanks to the rich archive of documents collected over the years, the help of leading experts in the field and field research. Thanks to these studies, it is possible to reconstruct the history of every single car in detail.
