14 September, 2017
"Wifredo Pelayo Ricart began working at Alfa Romeo as a consultant in 1936, but his name only appeared on the company's payroll in October 1937, a month after Vittorio Jano left. It was therefore, surprisingly, a Spanish engineer, originally from Barcelona, who succeeded the Turinese designer".
A new page of Alfisti history presented by Elvira Ruocco who today in his column "Evira Tells" traces the biography of Spanish designer Wilfredo Pelayo Ricart. At the Fratelli Cozzi Museum we also like to tell the lives of the men and women who have contributed to making Alfa Romeo a story told throughout the world, an emblem of elegance capable of evoking names that still make people dream.
