On Sunday 27 November, Pietro Cozzi, co-founder counselor, represented the Legnanese Family, in the place of President Luigi Caironi, during the scholarship ceremony which, for the eighth consecutive year, was hosted by the Liuc University of Castellanza.

The International Student Day, is an anniversary that every year claims the right to study and the right of students to express themselves. The institutional day of this recurrence is November 17 and commemorates the anniversary of the Nazi massacres of Czechoslovak students and professors who opposed the Nazi war. Many universities celebrate the anniversary, sometimes on a day other than November 17, with a different meaning to the original one, namely as a celebration of multiculturalism of international students.

This is the meaning of the celebrations that on Sunday 27 November awarded prizes to deserving students from LIUC - Cattaneo University, Bocconi University, Cattolica University, Polytechnic University, State University of Milan, Insubria University of Varese, San Domenico Savio Salesian Centre in Arese, Lombardy School of Notary Publics, Rotondi College in Gorla Minore, "G. Falcone" Hotelier Institute in Gallarate, Azienda Ospedale Ospedale Civile di Legnano and to students from high schools in Legnano, Parabiago, Villa Cortese, Arconate, Castano Primo, Abbiategrasso, Castano Primo and Abbiategrasso.Falcone" in Gallarate, Azienda Ospedaliera Ospedale Civile in Legnano and to students from secondary schools in Legnano, Parabiago, Villa Cortese, Arconate, Castano Primo, Abbiategrasso and Magenta. The scholarships have been donated thanks to the support and collaboration of the Fondazione Famiglia Legnanese together with the Municipality of Legnano, the Banca Popolare di Milano, the Fondazione Comunitaria Ticino Olona, companies and private citizens who have joined the initiative, with the hope that they will help young students to build a "reserve of meaning" as desired by Monsignor Cairati in his speech to young people.
