Together with ASI

February 21, 2021

The Alfa Romeo Fratelli Cozzi Museum joins the big family of ASI Affiliated Museums!

Another great news, we have joined the ASI family! We love to share our great passion with those who understand the beauty of this crazy world of motors!

Asi is a great institution, able to ferry emotions to the institutions and we feel honored by this affiliation. We want to thank for the beautiful article published in the last issue of La Manovella dedicated to the Fratelli Cozzi Museum: "When the work of a life becomes a Museum" by Danilo Castellarin. Thank you Asi, thank you President Alberto Scuro.

Happy reading!

KNOW ASI

A.S.I., Automotoclub Storico Italiano, set up in 1966 and recognised as a non-profit organisation under private law by decree of the President of the Republic no. 977 of 24 October 1980, is a Federation consisting of 282 federated clubs and 55 member clubs, which brings together approximately 152,000 enthusiasts of historic vehicles and representsItalian historic motoring at all competent national and international bodies.Itinstitutionally representsItalianhistoric motoringin all relevant national and international bodies.. Members of the Federation are non-commercial and non-profit associations, with aims similar to those of the ASI, and the Brand and Model Registers.

The Board, by statute, supports and safeguards the general interests of Italian historical motoring, enhancing its cultural, historical and social importance.

A.S.I. promotes the preservation and recovery of any motor vehicle over twenty years old (motor vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, military vehicles, agricultural and industrial machinery, commercial vehicles, boats and airplanes), enhancing the cultural aspect, which derives from the fact that these vehicles have been active and irreplaceable protagonists of the history of the twentieth century, expressing the technical evolution, custom and social.

Vehicles registered with the ASI benefit from tax benefits and traffic concessions, which the Legislator has recognised for the historical and cultural value they represent. Many insurance companies (including Per Te with which ASI has an exclusive agreement) also reserve facilitated policies for vehicles that hold certificates issued by the body.

The quality of the certified vehicles is very high, because the Technical Regulations of the Federal Body, which are the basis of this certification, are applied in a very strict way: the authenticity and originality of the vehicles become essential elements in order to obtain the Certificate of Identity that ASI issues as a historical record of the vehicles examined by its Technical Commission.

THE HANDLE

A real cult for fans of historic motoring, "La Manovella" is the editorial tool created by ASI to communicate with its members and to give the greatest possible echo to its initiatives. The magazine "La Manovella" has origins that go back even further than the founding of the organisation, having been created in 1961 as the official organ of the Italian Veteran Car Club. It spreads culture and at the same time keeps readers informed about what happens in the Federation and its circulation places it at the top of international publishing in the sector and clearly in first place nationally.
