CULTURE and PASSION

Stories of Peter Web

25 March, 2020

More than 5000 people have followed the "Stories of Peter" web edition, an important gesture to say all together that #LaCulturaNonSiFerma

We too, like everyone else, have been overwhelmed by what is happening in our country and, by now, in the world. The pandemic is a tragedy for many people and, believe us, we wondered a lot about what to do and whether to do it, then we chose. We have chosen to try to transmit that strength and passion that characterize the history of the Museum. In over 60 years of history there have been crises, terrorism, rebirths and every time we have held on and we do not want to stop now. For this reason we thought of a small experiment that, thanks to your passion and your character as true Alphists, has given excellent results.

We created a WEB event that could convey a sense of sharing and closeness, calling on our "star" Pietro Cozzi and the whole community that follows our Facebook profile. 3 videos with the "Stories of Peter" published in 30 minutes, half an hour to support two important messages:

#TheCultureDidn't Stop and #DivisiMaUniti #TheCultureCare

The result was amazing! Almost 5000 views in just 30 minutes (now widely exceeded) with more than 1000 interactions. Thank you so much for making your affection feel so strong. We want to reciprocate by continuing to stay close to you together with our Partners. In their sites you will find a lot of activities to do from home, some of them also dedicated to younger alfisti. We have selected some of them that you will find below.

THE MUSEOCITY PROPOSAL advises...

Pinacoteca di Brera: Notes for a #ResistenzaCulturale Brera is not only a beautiful building in the center of Milan, a sequence of rooms, a - albeit wonderful - collection of masterpieces. Brera is a vision and a soul in the heart of its city: the doors close, but the heart must keep beating. How to reach the main goal, the service to the public, in such a context? How to support Milan and its citizens in this dark moment? By making culture "agile": through social initiatives the Pinacoteca is guaranteeing access to the museum and library, waiting for this shadow to pass. Discover all the insights on the Pinacoteca's YouTube channel.

THE PROPOSAL OF THE DO IT #ItaliaMiManchi

At Casa Noha, Lella Costa reads "Christ stopped at Eboli" by Carlo Levi. From the heart of the Sassi, directly from the Bene FAI in which it is projected, an evocative extract from the immersive video "Viaggio straordinario nella storia di Matera".

THE PROPOSAL FOR A MUSEUM ENTERPRISE

Museimpresa believes in the importance of continuing to spread culture, making the best use of its channels, now especially digital ones, to reach an ever-growing audience and why not, in these days when reflection is more attentive, more open to new topics, such as those related to business culture, economic history, experiences that over time have built original synthesis between humanistic and scientific knowledge, memory and innovation.
