MuseimpresaLab: students protagonists
26 November, 2018
"We've learned a lot of things like talking to the audience and putting emotions aside in some cases, we hope to have more to do with you and all the staff we know, thank you for the huge opportunities you've given us."

This is the message received from the students of theBeetles Institute ofParabiago who, together with their colleagues from theIS Carlo Dell'Acqua of Legnano, participated in the first edition of MuseimpresaLab , the national project organized by the Museums belonging to the Museimpresa network dedicated to high school students. As part of the alternating school-work project, the students conceived, designed and implemented guided tours to tell their peers, but also children and adults, about the museum collections through new narrative methods. Coordinated by Professors Tiziana Fiori for the Istituto Legnanese and Isabella Rezzonico for the Maggiolini, they studied in depth issues related to the organization of individual and team work, public speaking, problem solving and, of course, content management.

In addition to our Museum, Officine Rancilio, Fondazione Dalmine, Museo Piaggio and Museo Storico Reale Mutuahave joined MuseimpresaLab.

It's been an interesting and challenging journey for us. Sometimes we have put the students to the test, but we are satisfied with the growth we have been able to observe in them and the messages sent to us by the students make the value of mutual commitment and collaboration.
"We want to thank the professors and students for their commitment: we are really satisfied with the path of growth we have had the pleasure of witnessing."
Particularly exciting was the meeting on Wednesday, November 14th, when the students of ITET Maggiolini welcomed the students of ITET Maggiolini.University for Adults Pope Francis of San Vittore Olona in an afternoon where distant generations have tightened in the emotion of shared memories.

The Corporate Culture Week could only end with a look to the future, together with the journalists of tomorrow, i.e. the students of the GLOCAL JOURNALISM COURSE, aimed at training professional figures towards glocal journalism. The course is supported by the cultural association TurismoSempione and the online daily newspaper Sempionenews, in collaboration with Fondazione Ticino Olona and Coworking Legnano. On Wednesday, November 21st, they were able to deepen issues related to brand journalism by analyzing the case history of our Museum and talking with Enzo Mari, director of Sempionenews, journalists Paolo Girotti and Luigi Marinoni and Stefano Morelli, press office of the Municipality of Legnano. Our wish goes to them, in the hope that their passion for journalism and respect for the freedom of the press can help them tell stories of an Italy that still believes in the power of Culture and Beauty.

A toast to goodbye to the next edition!
