The Museum opens its doors to FAI
11 APRIL, 2017
For landscape, art and nature.
Forever, for everyone.
Museo Fratelli Cozzi is with FAI, Fondo Ambiente Italiano, which since 1975 has been promoting the culture of respect for nature, art, history and traditions of Italy and protecting a heritage that is a fundamental part of our roots and identity. On Sunday 9 April, the Museum opened its doors to FAI, which today has more than 122,000 members, 7,000 volunteers, 117 delegations active throughout the country and 650,000 visitors. FAI's North-West Delegation is one of the latest to be set up, but it is already very active and includes the City of Legnano in its area of competence, "inorder to broaden its horizons in theservice of the enhancement of all that is of cultural, historical, artistic and landscape interest in our country", as SempioneNews, which has always paid close attention to the Museum's initiatives, reported.
"it is essential that efforts are made to raise awareness of this reality".
An exceptional guide for the occasion was Pietro Cozzi, who thrilled the visitors with his encyclopaedic knowledge of the world of Alfa Romeo and the anecdotes linked to each model on display, collected over more than 60 years of activity. Together with Pietro, Elisabetta was also present, introducing the visit, explaining the reasons behind the afternoon's special opening and introducing the head of FAI's North West delegation Silvana Belloni to the public. It was an important partnership because, as Elisabetta stressed, "it is essential that we commit ourselves to spreading awareness of this reality, which Legnano is fortunate enough to have on its territory, by all possible means, and also to support the Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano, as Silvana Belloni recalled, is indispensable so that we never run the risk of losing these wonderful "places of the heart".
