It won't connect!

27 June, 2018

The bimonthly magazine, illustrated and on glossy paper, offers the experience of reading, where gritty and elegant images invite you to discover the curiosities of real experts, without going into exasperated technicalities.

"Some stories don't end, they go round and round in circles and then they come back". That's probably how dear Venditti would tell it... and so would we. This story begins more than a year ago. We were in Pietro Cozzi's office and he showed us a letter, written entirely on a mechanical typewriter. A long letter, the thanks of a true Alfista. "How long did it take him to write it?" we ask. Together with the letter a business card, we decide to call the sender and give him an exclusive visit to the Museum: he had given us some time, we could only reciprocate.

The cover of the first number

That's how we meet Antonino D'Anna and it doesn't take long to understand that he's a die-hard Alfista, that he has a passion for vintage (he still uses a Polaroid camera!) and that he likes to tell about his passion. He moves us when he tells his Alfisti story . What we didn't know at the time was that he was going to found a trade magazine which, obviously, was called IL GARAGE DELL'ALFISTA (THE ALFIST'S GARAGE ) and become its editor-in-chief.

It seems like a risky choice in a world where the number of copies sold by paper newspapers has been greatly reduced, and where the web is all the rage. A risky choice ... like opening a museum in a world that is becoming increasingly virtual. Want to see that we really have something that unites us?

"Important garrison of information for fans of one of Italy's most famous, oldest and most prestigious car manufacturers, Alfa Romeo" Sergio Mattarella

The bimonthly magazine, illustrated and in glossy paper, offers the experience of reading, where gritty and elegant images invite you to discover curiosities of real experts, without going into exasperated technicalities, where the stories of cars meet the stories of men and women who, in the present and in the past, continue to live and pass on the Alfa dream.

We are biased, you will say. Maybe, but you may not know that even the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has defined the newspaper as "animportant source of information for fans of one of the most famous, oldest and most prestigious Italian car manufacturers, Alfa Romeo".

Even if you are reading us from the web right now, we know that you love concrete experiences, and you prove it every time you come to visit us at the Museum. Therefore, we suggest you give yourself and your family a subscription to Il Garage dell'Alfista because you can't help but be updated on news, anniversaries and in-depth analysis.

Speaking of anniversaries, on 24 June Alfa Romeo celebrated its first 108 years, from Il Garage dell'Alfista and the Fratelli Cozzi Museum MANY BEST WISHES!!!
