The "sprung" arrives at the cinema in fifth place in the 1983-1984 film season and he does so with this sometimes surreal comedy in which he plays Mattia, a successful playboy and writer who, two days before his marriage, decides to confess, retracing all his vicissitudes and his ephemeral and fleeting love affairs. In all these more or less lasting stories his young neighbour pretends to be his daughter every time so that Mattia can get rid, with the most disparate excuses, of the women who would like an affair with him. But the young neighbour is fundamentally in love with Mattia despite the strong age difference. In this regard there is the beautiful and surreal talk with the gas station attendant (Enzo De Toma) before the national Adriano leaves with his beautiful Alfa Romeo Spider Aerodinamica rossa for a quiet walk that turns into a challenge. In fact, the Duetto is "ingarella" in a challenge with a SWM XN350 and even goes so far as to soar after saying the famous phrase: "...well of course with the motorcycle is easy. It's with the car that it's difficult!".
Incidentally, Mattia and his young neighbor are getting married.

Curiosity: the disco from which Adriano comes out with the woman he just met and enters on board the Spider springs is still existing: it's the Fairy Club in Calolziocorte (LC). The woman instead is Katherine Quaye, aka Taffy, American singer, produced by Claudio Cecchetto, who had a good success also in Italy: her song "Walk Into The Daylight" which was the first theme song of Deejay television on Italia 1.

The gas station attendant Enzo De Toma many will remember him for being the famous bicycle character of the "Cinghiale" brush advertisement with the famous slogan.

Among the funniest scenes in the film, there is certainly the one set at the IP service area (located in Via XXV Aprile in Valmadrera, now under the ENI brand), where Celentano tells a confused gas station attendant about his heart problems. One thing, seeing this film, is sure: the gas station attendant, in addition to being an efficient petrol station attendant, can also be an excellent listener; if in the '50s newsreels interviewed a Milanese manager with a passion for art, a "painter-petrol maker", Celentano offers the portrait of the "psychologist-petrol maker".
As far as the IP of those years was concerned, it was a young but at the same time ancient company: Italiana Petroli was in fact born in 1974, after the sale of Shell's activities to AGIP (except then coming back in the 80s with Monteshell), but its history has its roots in the old company "Nafta" (Shell in Italy, precisely), born in 1912. The IP brand would have become known to the general public especially since the mid 80s, with the sponsorship of the national football team. From 2005, IP would later become part of the current Api and IP group.
