On line the Wikipedia page dedicated to the Museum with all the information and all the models kept. Have you read it already?

The Canadian writer Douglas Coupland in his book "The Last Five Hours" writes "I want to go down in history. I want a page on Wikipedia. I want Google results. I don't want to be a living organism that comes and goes without a trace on this planet." We are convinced that this is a strong and ironic statement as it is in the author's desecrating style, but if we really wanted to enter history, could we do so with an outdated Wikipedia page? Of course not!

Thanks to our Wikipedian (this is the name of the compilers of the pages) Marco, we have updated all the information about the Fratelli Cozzi Museum even in the biggest encyclopedia in the world. As usual, we asked for an external contribution so as to embody the principles of Wikiquette, the code of conduct that everyone must follow in order to be irreproachable on Wikipedia. Did you know that the guidelines and pillars of the regulation are based on the core principle of the "neutral point of view"?

Yes, there are many curiosities to discover about this tool that we consult daily, we have collected some for you ... but first click on the image below and discover our page.

SOME WIKIPEDIA CURIOSITIES

When was Wikipedia born?

On January 15, 2001 the first version of Wikipedia, strictly in English, was launched by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger. Already in May of the same year, French, German, English, Catalan, Spanish, Swedish, Portuguese and, at the end of the year, Italian were implemented. It will be a few years before "Wikimedia Italia" is born. Today Wikipedia "speaks" over 280 languages.

What does Wikipedia mean?

The etymology of the name, coined by Larry Sanger, combines the root WIKI, with the suffix PEDIA. If on the suffix there will be easy to trace back to the Latin "encyclopaedia" (which in turn derives from the Greek ἐγκυκλοπαιδεία, "circular instruction, complete"), it will be necessary to travel to the Hawaii Islands to understand the WIKI root, Hawaiian term meaning "fast". And it was precisely "Wiki" the name of the softwere that allowed the creation and editing of pages within a website.

Did you know that Wikipedia is in the Guinness Book of World Records?

In September 2007 the English edition of Wikipedia crossed the historic milestone of two million entries, making it the largest encyclopedia ever written by man. Before it, it was the Yongle encyclopedia that held the record for 600 years, having been founded in 1407. It is therefore the largest encyclopedia in the world and, although there was a plan to translate it into a paper work, it entrusts all its greatness to the web.
