"The racing world is dangerous, everyone knows that, the unexpected is just around the corner. Achille Varzi knew this very well, and that is why in his career as a driver he always evaluated very well the risk he was facing. But one thing he did not foresee, the women, morphine and politics that made the legend of the circuits of the time "lurch."

So begins the article "L'ultimo viaggio con l'Alfa Romeo" signed by Mario Fontana for Profumo di Alfa and dedicated to Galliate driver Achille Varzi.

To him, his story and legend, the June 11 event at the Cozzi Brothers Museum is dedicated!

Davide da Fidel, an actor and history buff, confronts the now-epic historic motoring and becomes the narrator of the legend of Achille Varzi, with technical support from Gianni and Federico Sironi.

The epic races of the 1930s were not, in fact, the time of Tazio Nuvolari alone, so why, then, did someone as strong as Varzi, in 2023 almost disappear from history?

Davide da Fidel will tell his epic story, starting with motorcycles and then moving on to cars, always comparing himself to Nuvolari.

A thrill that lasts an hour, a story impossible not to listen to without taking your eyes off the teller, on a journey through time, history, and legend.
