Aid raid 2022, an announced success

The ingredients for an unforgettable day, it must be said, were all there: 

• The arrival at the Museum of Aid Raid 2022, the solidarity raid promoted by our friends at Cinemalfa to provide free dental care to less fortunate children and families
• The launch of the emergency fund forUkraine by the Friends of Fondazione Comunitaria Ticino Olona, designed to support refugees hosted in the Altomilanese area
• The occasion was to present issue 3 of the Alfista magazine 'Profumo di Alfa', with guests from the publisher Mario Fontana: the proceeds of the magazine on sale at the Museum were donated to the Ukraine emergency fund

All this made our May opening an unmissable opportunity to get together and talk about history, design and culture without forgetting the unfortunate.

The museum decided to open for free, however, asking participants for a donation for the FCTO Ukraine emergency fund: enthusiasts responded with great generosity and allowed the Foundation to collect almost one thousand euros for the cause.

Let us tell you: we are proud of our visitors! Furthermore, Fondazione Cariplo will double these donations, thank you very much.

After our Renato Tradico's guided tour, it was time to hear the guest talk of Profumo di Alfa number 3: with us were Mario Fontana with Massimo Colombo as moderators. Giorgio Alisi spoke about his extraordinary art (he then sold his beautiful drawings to donate the proceeds to the Foundation) and Marco Mottini , a great enthusiastspoke about the Alfetta's birthday.

Always a pleasure to hear these testimonies!

Then, at 5.30 p.m., a fitting end to the day came the final stage of Aid Raid: we said goodbye to Ivan Scelsa and all our friends CinemAlfa with a short interview and a final farewell full of emotion.
