ALFAMOUS, THE WALL OF THE ALFA CLUB FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM

27 July, 2021

Every week we dedicate a space and a star on our wall of fame to alfa romeo clubs around the world, sharing their history, photos and passion. follow us on this journey from star to star!

Today marks the start of the appointment with Alfamous, the project project that we have developed to make the project we have set up to make Alfa Romeo Club enthusiasts all over the world feel our closeness, at least virtually overcoming the distance between us.to at least virtually overcome the distance that separates us.

For each Alfa Club participating in the initiative, the Museum will place a star on the brand new Alfamous Wall of Fame.

We start with the first Alfa Club on our list, the Ugo Stella Club from Bosnia and Herzegovina .

Let's find out who they are!

The Club, chaired by Milos Crnadak, is dedicated to the knight and managing director who, on 24 June 1910, contributed to the birth of ALFA - Anonima lombarda fabbrica automobili, the first nucleus of Alfa Romeo.

  • Club: Ugo Stella
  • Where: Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Year of foundation: 2011
  • Number of members: around 100
  • Main activities: organisation of an international meeting attended by 150 machines from more than 10 countries
  • Favourite Alfa Romeo: the Montreal, as 'an institution of a modern man's vision of the 1970s and a great memory of the era'.

"We are a friendly club," explains president Milos Crnadak, "and we like to support many activities and members of our club. We always have a lot of fun with us! Alfa Romeo has that secret ingredient that all car enthusiasts crave. It is the perfect combination of engine sound and driving experience that brings a smile and joy to every drive.

Now to theHet Junior Zagato Archief: let's find out about them!

The Het Junior Zagato Archief (based in 's-Hertogenbosch, in the Netherlands) is not really an Alfa Club, but a register of JZs, of which our little one is obviously a member 🙂 ...

  • Club: Het Junior Zagato Archief
  • Where: 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands
  • Year of foundation: 2010
  • Number of members: 150 and 250 contacts of JZ owners
  • Favourite Alfa Romeo: The Junior Zagato, of course.

"Alfa Romeo has built fantastic cars and has a long, exciting and interesting history," explain Rolf van Hillegondsberg and Nancy Hendriks, president and vice president. "Rolf got the Alfa-virus through his father who drove Alfa in the 1970s. Nancy also got the virus through her father, who drove and restored a few Alfas and co-founded the Dutch SCARB (www.alfaclub.nl) in 1978. Through this club we got to know each other and from our passion for the Junior Zagato we started 'Het Junior Zagato Archief'".

Here we are at another of the Alfa Clubs scattered around the world, the Alfa Club Toulouse Pyrénées: let's get to know them and welcome them to our Wall of Fame!

  • Club: Toulouse Pyrénées
  • Where: Escanecrabe, Midi-Pyrénées (France)
  • Year of foundation: 2017
  • Number of members: approximately 40
  • Main activities: organisation of general assemblies, participation in classic car shows

Favourite Alfa Romeo: "We don't answer," they say, " because we love them all except the Arna 😉".

"I first created a club in 1996 called Alfa club du Sud-ouest, which covered the whole of southwest France from La Rochelle to Foix," explains one of the founders, Jean Pierre Lampriere, "this club had up to 120 members. Geographical reasons led me after 20 years to leave the presidency and in 2017 to create a new club: the alpha club Toulouse Pyrenees. We have contacts with a club in Barcelona: "Alfistas Club Sport" and we have already held a rally in Andorra in 2019 that brought together around forty Alfas: we hope in October to double the number of Alfas present!

How did I contract the Alfa Virus? When I was young I had a relative who always drove Alfas; Giulia, Bertone, Alfetta Atv and I was immediately won over by these cars! I bought my first Alfa, a new Giulia Super 1600 in 1975, and I've had Alfa ever since.
