Arna, the misunderstood... (maybe)
25 March, 2018
You've asked countless times, "Do you... the Arna... do you have it"? Many unbelievers wanted to peek backstage at the Museum, others took their word for it without further disturbing the beauty of the Alfa Romeo cars on display. Now the time has come to unveil it...

As anticipated in our article "Montreal and Arna, a design lesson", the Arna has temporarily (and we TEMPORARELY emphasize) taken the place of Montreal during the days of Design Week. Now she is back in the ranks, but before putting her back in the attic, she deserves a chance to tell her story.

Defined the wrong Alfa, a flop, a car born badly (and we spare you more colorful epithets), the Arna represents, game force, a page of Alphist history for which we can not claim the right to oblivion.

Alfa Romeo Nissan Automobili Spa, the acronym of horror born for a just cause. The biscione's house needed to replace, with diligence, the Alfasud with a new compact sedan and the idea of sharing the project with Japanese colleagues seemed to be the solution. The sad story told by posterity will prove otherwise.

Yet Arna was the queen of anecdotes, TV series and movies. That her charm was misunderstood?

Whether it is a horror or a tale of poignant misunderstanding, the story of the Arna deserves to be told, in the name of its claim "Arna e sei subito alfista". The monthly opening of May will therefore be dedicated to her and, for the occasion, we asked Andrea Vecchi, who answered our (delirious) call, to help us understand what at first glance seems incomprehensible. Will his enthralling love for Alfa Romeo give our new heroine a chance?

At this point you will no longer be able to resist the temptation to register for our opening on 13 May, admission is free and registration is compulsory. Just click on the link below to be "alfista now".
