Beauty and Perfection
29 July, 2020
Many have met him at our events and found themselves in his shots. Shy and discreet, he was able to camouflage himself in the crowd to see the spontaneous emotion. He is always looking for two essential elements: Beauty and Perfection.
Born in 1981, in the photographic field since 2013, after various courses and studies I start working as a freelancer in 2016. In addition to events and private meetings, I boast publications on various magazines and photographs accompanying some books on Vecchioni and De Gregori“.

This is how Francesco Morello, the photographer that many of you have met at the Fratelli Cozzi Museum, introduces himself. Shy and reserved, he prefers the shots to speak for him. Over the years he has been able to establish a strong bond with the city of Legnano, as shown by the gigantographies that, for several weeks, have set up the city centre to tell the story of the Palio di Legnano. A triangle of passion for the territory that links the Fratelli Cozzi, Palio and Francesco Morello Museum born during the debut of the Museum that opened the doors (and the doors) to host the Spring Gala.

We have selected four photographs from Francesco's portfolio, two dedicated to the Spring Gala at the Museum, one showing the extraordinary ability to capture unique moments and a glimpse of the photos on display in the heart of the city.

Francesco Morello has often immortalized the Alfa Romeo cars in the collection, succeeding in exalting the details, but while we were thinking about this article we asked ourselves: "What will he feel when taking pictures of our "little ones"? What will his favourite photos be? That's what he answered:

"Why did I choose these 2 images? Everyone has the opportunity to visit these spaces, either for an event or for classic guided tours; but few have the honor and opportunity to experience this place in total solitude. Thanks to my work (but above all thanks to the "trust" placed in me by Elisabetta Cozzi when everything was still a "bet"), I've had the chance, over the past four years, to spend entire days in the sole company of the cars present. It is a privilege for few, it is a magical space in which to move and observe so much beauty and perfection. The photographic inspiration is the natural consequence. In view of the above, I think the two images chosen are perfect because they represent the two sensations/emotions that the Museum has given me in recent years: the presence of large events with many people and personalities and the exact opposite, that is, the magic of the place experienced alone. In both cases, a certainty: the City of Legnano, thanks to this place, increases its prestige."

We thank Francesco for these beautiful words and remind you that you can follow "Framor" on his website.
