Café Voltaire

Laura Campiglio has written for several publications, including GQ and Rolling Stone. She made her debut as a writer in 2007 with Dario Flaccovio Editore and "Caffè Voltaire" is her third novel.

In an age of post-truths, can you write anything and everything and hope to come out unscathed? Amidst election slogans, low-grade dishonesty and fake news (with the aggravating circumstance of an unexpected romantic encounter), Anna, the protagonist of her novel, will realise that doing the right thing is not as easy as it seems.

A fresh and pressing comedy, brilliant and topical, which combines an informed account of an electoral campaign perfectly set in the present with a successful portrait of the thirty-forty generation: temporary workers forever, "kids" out of their prime and veterans of uncertainty. (Publisher: Mondadori).

Tell me more Olivia

Francesca Lualdi is a young woman of only 27 with a lot of talent and a rich and varied academic curriculum. In her book she collects interviews that she defines as "growth, knowledge, a real gift that if appreciated and metabolised can become motivation".

"Tell Me Olivia" was born by chance thanks to social networks, with the desire to create something useful, something different. A window on the reality that everyone would like to live, letting themselves be inspired by light-hearted souls who were able to make courageous decisions and follow their instincts.

This book wants to give a little push to all those people who are guided by the feeling of fear with the fear that the parachute might not open. (Publisher: Barbara Del Fiore Editore)
