The Fratelli Cozzi Museum on the cover of "La Rivista dei Musei", the periodical of the History and Museums Commission of the Automotoclub Storico Italiano.

It was a nice surprise for us to find the Fratelli Cozzi Museum on the cover of "La Rivista dei Musei", the periodical edited by ASI Automotoclub Storico Italiano which we would like to thank.

To consult "La Rivista dei Musei", click on the museum image at the end of the page.

If you don't know ASI yet, read below and discover their important contribution to the world of vintage vehicles. An absolute cult their monthly magazine "La Manovella" of which we propose two covers dedicated to our beloved Alfa Romeo.

HISTORICAL ITALIAN CAR CLUB

The A.S.I. Automotoclub Storico Italiano, established in 1966 and recognized as a moral body under private law by decree of the President of the Republic n.977 of 24 October 1980, is a Federation composed of 279 federated clubs and 52 member clubs, which brings together about 152,000 fans of historic vehicles and institutionally represents Italian historic motoring to all relevant national and international bodies. Members of the Federal Body are the non-commercial and non-profit associations, with aims similar to those of the ASI, and the Brand and Model Registers.

The body, by statute, supports and protects the general interests of the Italian historical motorisation, enhancing its cultural, historical and social importance.
A.S.I. promotes the conservation and recovery of any motor vehicle that has turned twenty years old (motor vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, military vehicles, agricultural and industrial machinery, commercial vehicles, boats and airplanes), enhancing its cultural aspect, which derives from the fact that these vehicles have been active and irreplaceable protagonists of the history of the twentieth century, expressing their technical, customary and social evolution.

"Speed and roar of the engine make the excitement."
Leunam Aeport

Vehicles registered with the ASI benefit from tax benefits and traffic concessions, which the Legislator has recognised for the historical and cultural value they represent. Many insurance companies (including Per Te with which ASI has an exclusive agreement) also reserve facilitated policies for vehicles that hold certificates issued by the body.

Today, there are more than 45,000 vehicles certified by the ASI, in possession of the certificate of identity, with an annual increase of about 3,000 (divided into cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, military and agricultural machinery).

The quality of the certified vehicles is very high, because the Technical Regulations of the Federal Body, based on this certification, are applied in a very strict way: the authenticity and originality of the vehicles become essential elements to obtain the Certificate of Identity that the ASI issues as historical equipment of the vehicles examined by its Technical Commission.
