Women and motors, joys and enough: the exhibition goes traveling

18 February, 2022

the exhibition continues its tour of area schools and among the calendar events of civil week

That the exhibition "Women and Motors? Just Joys!" had become itinerant we we already anticipated last month: what makes us happy now is the great public success we are experiencing!

The Centro Diagnostico Italiano (CDI) in Milan, in fact, until June 30, 2023 will host the photographic exhibition created in collaboration with Legnano's CIF and the Bracco Foundation-and supported by numerous companies, including Konica Minolta, Dell Techonologies and Ebi Consulting-and not a day goes by when the phone rings at the Museum or our director (but also of the other 15 women portrayed) for compliments and amazement of those who, passing by the CDI, surprisingly notice the exhibition and fall in love with it.

If you have already followed the first stages of the exhibition, you will know that it was designed to break down clichés and improve business communication in industries that, like the automotive industry, have an inelegant history with women.

SCHOOLS AND CIVIL WEEK

But it doesn't end there! The beautiful shots will also be displayed in some local schools and will be part of the Civil Week programs in May, in collaboration with the Ticino Olona Community Foundation and the City of Legnano.

For those who do not know, Civil Week is a now traditional annual event in Legnano that serves to promote civic culture and the active participation of citizens in community life. Meetings, debates, performances and events are usually organized during this week to raise awareness of important issues such as solidarity, inclusion, sustainability and equality.

The exhibition "Women and Motors? Just Joys!" was included precisely because it represents a strong message of gender equality and combating the stereotypes still present in society.

In addition, the exhibition will also be hosted in a number of schools in the area, including theCarlo Dell'Acqua Institute, Bernocchi Institute and Galileo Galilei High School .
