How elegant at the Museum!
25 January, 2020

As we said in our previous article "An event doesn't last only one day", we love to tell the story of the companies we host at the Museum and today we are particularly happy to do so.

Since the preparations for the event Deer Textile intrigued and fascinated us. We created new spaces at the Museum with a new layout that created two islands of work. The first island was intended for Italian collaborators, while the second was an international work table.

In the middle of the afternoon, we saw the material for the set ups arrive: relle, fabrics and colours in a continuous reminder of contrasts and harmonies. The strong and firm lines of our Alfa Romeo and the soft lightness of the fabrics created an irresistible fashion atmosphere in the Museum.

For a moment we stopped to imagine a fashion show among the "little ones", don't you think it's a good idea?

"History can make us understand the deeper value of our present, our future."

LET'S FIND OUT THE STORY OF TEXTILE DEER

1815 is the year it all began. At that time, Gaspare Sironi, founder of the company of the same name, chose to dedicate himself to this activity, entrusting the farmers with the task of hand weaving the yarn he himself had selected. The next generation was able to increase the activity, creating the premises for the industrial enterprise that began in 1850. Twenty years later, the hand looms disappeared, giving way to the first mechanical looms that made it possible to achieve high quality in the production of cloths and linings.

The present of Cervotessile is represented by the products that have made the company famous all over the world: linings, fabrics, interlinings. Elements that with their essentiality contribute to drawing unforgettable textile stories. For this reason they are preferred to others: because they are able to combine quality and harmony, research and result, utility and beauty, starting from a great story that represents the absolute value of this company.

The following generations have been able to bring, each one in a different way, something important to the entrepreneurial project of this company: a project of international scope, but based on a solid family vision. Let's think about the value represented by the expansion of the activity with the dyeing and finishing departments, for example. And again, the choice to introduce new machinery, with the awareness that technology is fundamental to obtain a quality that wants to surpass itself, not content to assert its value.

A fundamental date draws the reality of today. It is 1981, the year Cervotessile Spa was founded, a commercial reality that joins the historical industrial reality represented by Gaspare Sironi Spa. Today the two companies interact, integrate and evolve, united by a precise vision that combines experience, service and excellent results.
