A party for vintage vehicles

29 September, 2020

Autoclassica is really an unmissable event, a party for lovers of the sector who can enjoy up close extraordinary cars, from the oldest to the most innovative, from the most common to those you can only dream about.

In this horrible year, each event takes on a different dimension and Autoclassica edition 2020 also becomes a symbol: the first vintage car fair to reopen in Europe after the lockdown. Right from here, right from Milan, it was important that engines roared again.

That is why we wanted to be there too, to celebrate what we love, especially at this historic moment. We did it carefully, following the anticovid protocol, respecting the work of many and the passion of those who came to visit us. And it couldn't be a party without friends, so here we are to tell three days shared with Ruoteclassiche, CMAE, Asi, Alfa Club Milano .

Three days of extraordinary opening, with a new formula compared to previous visits: no groups, but a continuous (and spaced out) flow of visitors. Beautiful to hear different accents and dialects that commented and gave anecdotes related to Alfa Romeo. Also worth mentioning was the participation of experts and students from the sector who took advantage of the agreement with Autoclassica to come and visit us.

On Saturday and Sunday we also created the first Fratelli Cozzi Museum Trophy, which awarded the oldest car registered among the crews of CMAE, Ruoteclassiche and those who registered through the Eventbrite profile of the Museum. To discover the winners ... click here!

A special thanks goes to CMAE, Club Milanese Automotoveicoli d'Epoca for its active collaboration in the organization of the meetings and for having also exhibited the 155 Q4 Recordo di Velocità, dedicating a large area to it and telling its epic story... and that of its parachute.

Thanks also to Ruoteclassiche with whom we had a new opportunity to continue on the path #InsiemePerIlClassico.

An important moment of opportunity organized by ASI Automotoclub Storico Italiano, with the participation of Lorenzo Ardizio, curator of the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum of Arese and Elisabetta Cozzi: together to pay due homage to the 110 years of the Casa del Biscione.

A final thanks to Alfa Club Milano, with its president Andrea Vecchi, who you often met in the special openings of the Fratelli Cozzi Museum and who, with his unconditional love for Alfa Romeo, recounted the 35th anniversary of the 75th, collecting in his stand every model produced.

The appointment is for the next edition, which we hope, and we wish it to all, can be lived without any shadow of health emergency, ready with the foot flat to restart an important economic sector for our country.
