Fideuram does the encore and adopts its second car

March 29, 2021

fideuram was the first company to believe in our "adopt a car" project and we are delighted with this new, second adoption!

What do you say when someone supports you twice, again demonstrating all their generosity? Frankly, just a thank you is not enough. So, thank you very much, or rather 2500!

Fideuram has decided to bet once again on Culture and Beauty - the capital letters are not typos - and has thus adopted its second car from the Museum. After the 6C 2500 Freccia d'Oro better known as 'Il Gobbone', now the Intesa Sanpaolo private bank has chosen another 6C, the 1950 6C 2500 SS Spider Farina.

"Adopting a car means taking care of it, through restoration and maintenance, so that it can continue to fascinate Italian and foreign visitors, students from middle school to university, researchers, enthusiasts "
Elisabetta Cozzi

Fideuram was also the first company to believe in "Adopt a car", a project designed to allow individuals, entrepreneurs, companies and enthusiasts to invest in a piece of Italian history and design, supporting the Museum's research and restoration activities.

We are talking about restoration not by chance: thanks to the adoption of Fideuram our 6C Spider Farina has been able to have a make up tour in the expert hands of our mysterious mechanic Mariowhich has already refurbished the seats with a specific treatment. A further restoration work on the rear bench is in progress in these days and we can't wait to see the result!

Thanks to Fideuram this little one can finally be restored!

"Adopt a Car" is a valuable project for the Museum, but also for the adopter. In addition to the recognition of corporate social responsibility, the company that adopts one of our "little ones" has advantages:

  • His logo will be displayed on the car inside the Museum
  • You will receive 1,000 postcards with a photograph of the adopted car.
  • Adoption will be communicated on Facebook, Instagram and in the newsletter
  • Will have the Museum available for its guests for a guided tour

All of our Alpha adopters are excited - would you like to be part of the group too?

YOU KNOW THE CAR?

The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Spider Farina was the last car from the company to be built with separate chassis and bodywork. The bodywork for this model was supplied by Stabilimenti Farina, one of the historic coachbuilding suppliers of the time along with Touring, Pinin Farina and Boneschi. A curiosity? A "cousin" of this car, with bodywork produced by Touring, was driven to Tobruk-Tripoli by Giuseppe Farina, son of Giovanni (founder of Stabilimenti Farina) and grandson of Battista (founder of Pininfarina).
