gitefilm in the strangest places!

April 11, 2023

Do you know the inclusive project in collaboration with MUDE - Design Museums and ADI? We present it to you!

We have already stated this as a good resolution for 2023.: the Cozzi Brothers Museum is and will be increasingly committed to promoting social and cultural activities for inclusiveness and sustainability.

Among the most significant activities that we have already put in place is undoubtedly GiteFilm in strangest places!, a project promoted by Associazione Lavoro e Integrazione, Asilo Mariuccia Foundation, La Grande Casa Social Cooperative Society and World of Community and Family Association, in collaboration with Circuito Lombardo Musei Design, Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation and ADI Design Museum Compasso d'oro .

The great commitment of all these parties to one goal: to give children who are guests of communities or other services for minors a carefree time and in valuable cultural settings.

THE PROJECT.

Educating access to cultural places means fostering and training emotional sensitivity and competence.
(M.Dallari, 2017)

The project is designed for girls and boys between the ages of six and eleven, particularly children who are socially disadvantaged and live in residential educational facilities or use territorial educational supports .

The goal is to create a bridge that allows children in situations of overt disadvantage, accompanied by educators who know their personal passions and family and social struggles, to come into contact with places of culture such as museums and museum collections and to experience experiences and stimuli that are unfortunately otherwise difficult for them to access .

THE FIRST STAGES OF THE INITIATIVE

In addition to the appointment at the Fratelli Cozzi Museum, children were able to participate in valuable initiatives in other places imbued with culture and design, such as:

POLE OF DOING.

  • Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation
  • Negroni Equipment
  • Typewriter Museum

HUB OF DESIGN HISTORIES AND FORMS

  • Fisogni Gas Station Museum
  • SAME Museum
  • Molteni Museum
  • ADI Design Museum Compasso d'oro

SEE YOU NEXT TIME!

Fratelli Cozzi Museum hosted children from theMariuccia Kindergarten for a field trip and screening inside the Museum.

It was a real joy for us to share our story with children and young people, and they, we think, enjoyed our Alfa Matta so much!

A great experience for everyone, including us: thank you for this beautiful opportunity for growth!
