PASSION ON ROLLASSIC ROOTS

15 December, 2021

we are on the december issue of ruoteclassiche, one of the most prestigious italian magazines dedicated to vintage cars, now on newsstands

A journey through the red, black and white of 65 years of history together with one of the most prestigious Italian magazines dedicated to classic cars.

Journalist Gaetano Derosa, photographer Paolo Carlini and video-maker Camilla Albertini came to the museum to meet our director, Elisabetta Cozzi, and above all the cars that she and her father Pietro collected, looked after and maintained. To the point of turning a private collection into a museum, a breeding ground for culture and research.

"Our museum is autonomous, also to show that culture can make business and that business can make culture".

Ruoteclassiche's story starts with the first car conserved by Pietro Cozzi, the Giulietta TI Giallo Cina, founder and emblem of the famous phrase "Put it there", and continues towards the first of the unique pieces conserved by the Museum, the Giulia TI Super grigio fumo di Londra.

Emphasis was also placed on the colours chosen in conjunction with architects Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, as well as the layout of the cars: saloons on the right, coupes on the left and convertibles in the centre.

Like a real instruction manual for visitors who have never (yet) visited us.

Ruoteclassiche also dedicated a space to our archive, the Cozzi.Lab, with its vintage photographs, sector magazines, brochures, manuals, technical drawings, models, posters and memorabilia, the result of a skilful collection and archiving but also of many donations from enthusiasts.

Inevitably, we must mention the trophies dedicated to the drivers and designed by the greatest designers of the last century.

"What am I going to do when I grow up? I never want to stop dreaming", says Piero Pelù in one of his songs, and since he himself stands out on the December cover of Ruoteclassiche (with his Giulietta Sprint), this is how we close.
