ALFAMOUS, THE WALL OF THE ALFA CLUB FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM

10 August, 2021

Every week we dedicate a space and a star on our wall of fame to alfa romeo clubs around the world, sharing their history, photos and passion. follow us on this journey from star to star!

Our appointment with Alfamous and especially with our Wall of Fame: a real review of the Alfa Clubs friends of the Fratelli Cozzi Museum and scattered around the world. Far away but close, then!

For each Alfa Club participating in the initiative, the Museum will place a star on the brand new Alfamous Wall of Fame. Moreover, thanks to the collaboration with AFRA, Alfa Clubs are entitled to a special discount! Go to https://www.afra.it/it/ to find out more.

And so we come to the fourth club, the most historic of those described so far: the Club Alfa Romeo Finland

Let's find out more about this club!

  • Club: Alfa Romeo Finland
  • Where: Helsinki, Finland
  • Year of foundation: 1979
  • Number of members: 620
  • Favourite Alfa Romeo: The Alfa Romeo 156 is the most popular and most common Alfa Romeo among club members.

È the oldest and largest club for Alfa Romeo enthusiasts in Finland. The main idea of the club is to bring together all Alfa enthusiasts in one forum where they can get information about the history, technology and maintenance of the different models. "Here we also take care of the individual cars, all the information about them and the Finnish tradition of the company," reads the official website.

The fifth club in our review, the second of this month, comes from neighbouring Slovenia: let's get acquainted with Alfa Klub Slovenija!

  • Club: Alfa Klub Slovenija
  • Where: Kropa, Slovenia
  • Year of foundation: 2003
  • Number of members: 100 officers, more than 3300 Facebook group members

Favourite Alfa Romeo: the Alfa Romeo Sprint, followed by the Alfetta GTV and the Alfa Romeo GTV (says president Matej Zagar).

Alfa Romeo is like a virus for all members of the Club, the only good virus and one that we are happy to be infected with," says Club President Matej Zagar. I, for example, fell in love with Alfa Romeo thanks to my brother who owned a 146 1.7 16v.

Even though I am only 30 years old, I dream, feel and live Alfa Romeo. Club members are growing all the time but we support all Alfisti, whether they are club members or not!".

We look forward to meeting you!

We end our journey through the Alfa Clubs of the month with a look at a club that is almost a quarter of a century old, theAlfa Classic Club de France.

  • Club: Alfa Classic Club de France
  • Where: Sarcelles, France
  • Year of foundation: 1997
  • Number of members: 150
  • Favourite Alfa Romeo: There are many Alfa Romeos that make this club dream, but one in particular is the SS, because of its design.

The Alfa Classic Club de France, based in Sarcelles, not far from Paris, has a fine history and a bright future. The president (in office for 20 years) is Philippe Jacquot, his deputy (also in office for 20 years) has an Italian name, Bruno Caggiula. "The objective of the Alfa Classic Club de France," they explain, "is to provide owners of classic or young-timer Alfas with an art-de-vivre dimension to their passion".

Fantastique! 🙂

See you soon at the Museum, maybe on the occasion of your 25th anniversary!
