TRIENNALE MILANO, DESIGN IS SERVED

29 May, 2021

From 4 to 6 June, we are guests at the triennale milano with an event dedicated to design and many "unique objects".

Every now and then, even our Museum goes away!

On 4-5-6 June we will be at the Triennale Milano with the Circuito Lombardo Musei Design. How proud we are!

The project is, needless to say, fantastic and we're going to tell you about it right now: of course, we'll be waiting for you there, admission is free subject to availability and reservations are not required.

The project is called I Luoghi del Design - Tre giorni di incontri in Triennale: racconti, proiezioni e una mostra and is a marathon of events curated by Claudio Palvarini and Lodovico Gualzetti.

Together with the Fratelli Cozzi Museum there will be 26 other museums, archives and studio-museums of the Circuito Lombardo Musei Design, which represent, as you know, the excellence of industrial design made in Italy.

Each of these museums is described in the exhibition "A Journey through the Land of Design" on the first floor of the Triennale Milano (in the so-called Impluvium) through 18 metres of images, photos and texts that explore each individual museum. We'll be there too, of course!

Museo Fratelli Cozzi is not only one of the protagonists of the exhibition, open all three days of the event: in fact, we will also participate in the talk "Unique Objects", which will be held in the Salone d'Onore of Triennale Milano on Friday 4 June. Marco Sammicheli of Triennale Milano will introduce the curators, including our director Elisabetta Cozzi, who will talk about a never-seen object from each collection.

Our intervention is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.: of course, you are all invited!

At this point you may be wondering: what will be the unique object that the Museum will bring to the Triennale Milano talk? To the readers of our blog and newsletter we can give a few clues in advance:

  • It is soft
  • He is a boy from the 1980s
  • It is spotty

If the clues are not enough, just come to the Triennale Milano and find out for yourself!
