the museum in the classroom

20 November, 2021

Did you know that educational trips can be organised at the Museum?

For the 2021/2022 school year, several schools in the Legnano area have already chosen us!

Literally: we would love to set up the museum as a school, with desks, and we don't rule out doing that in the future either.

But bankers or not, the world of the school and that of our Museum are already linked by the most precious thread of all: Culture with a capital C.

Did you know, for example, that educational trips can be organised at the Museum? And that the Cozzi.Lab is also a rich and valuable source of digital material?

Read on to discover all the proposals of the Fratelli Cozzi Museum for schools!

EDUCATIONAL VISITS

We all know that, unfortunately, the recent pandemic has also dealt a blow to the school excursion calendar of every school.

Little by little, schools are confidently reopening to educational visits, preferably in the local area to avoid problems and contagion: in this sense, the Museum is open by appointment for school groups of all levels and addresses.

For the 2021/2022 school year, several schools in the Legnano area have already chosen us!

SCHOOL-TO-WORK ALTERNATION

PCTO alternation between school and work is a valuable tool, if it really gives young people a chance to get a foothold in the world of work in a concrete way.

With the project of alternation at the Museum, students are concretely involved with the aim of developing soft skills that are increasingly in demand in working environments such as:

  • Relating in the field of reception
  • Working in groups on objectives
  • Public speaking
  • Problem solving
  • Participating in the organisation of an event
  • Knowing and interpreting a story
  • Storytelling

BACCALAUREATE THESIS - POSTGRADUATE COURSES - UNIVERSITY PROJECTS

We have already had the pleasure of opening our Cozzi.Lab archive to students and researchers of all ages.

In fact, the Cozzi.Lab encompasses over 60 years of Italian business, culture, design and creativity. A heritage that has been an inspiration to many, any examples?

  • A classical baccalaureate thesis (Edoardo Cuppini, Liceo Classico Beccaria di Milano as 2017/2018)
  • A university exam (Caterina Elli, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan)
  • Two postgraduate projects (Andrea Meddi and Gabriele Fortuna for ICMA in Busto Arsizio and Davide Rancilio for NABA Milan).

You can find them all here.

Do you have a school project to share with us? Contact us: we look forward to writing another cultural page together!
