MuseoCity 2022, the museum is not just a container

White, red and black: do you know why the museum is based on these three colours? You can find out for yourself on 6 March

The protagonists of the exhibition, and in particular of the Museo Segreto selection, will be museums seen as structures, as "Rooms of Art": it will be a focus on the public and private buildings that house the museums' collections and archives, told by their curators and directors.
In our case, also told by the architects who created them.
Yes, because on Sunday 6 March 2022 we will have with us the ingenious creators of the Fratelli Cozzi Museum, architects Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. It will not be the traditional guided tour among the cars but we will focus on the story of the structure, the design of the Museum, from its planning to its realisation.
An exciting story told in a guided tour aimed at all design enthusiasts with particular attention to students of architecture and design schools. particular attention to students from schools of architecture and design.
"You have to be very precise, from the general idea down to the last detail, to find the right balance between strength and delicacy, between operation and emotion, between poetry and prose, where beauty is extreme synthesis."
White, red, black
We will talk more about this during and after the event on 6 March, but let us say a few words about our museum designed by the Buratti architects.
Conceived in 2015, the design includes the addition of red as a trait d'union between the white of the building (also designed by Buratti in 2008), which emerges from the urban fabric, and the black of the Museum, which enhances the objects on display as if they were shiny precious stones.
"The red promises surprises," say Gabriele and Oscar Buratti.
And our event on 6 March, too, we might add!
