156: 20 years and not hear them

Time runs fast and twenty years have already passed since Alfa Romeo put the first Alfa Romeo 156 on the market.

680.000 the number of cars produced since 1997 and one of them is kept in our museum: a 156 2.5 6V Q.tronic of 1999.

Often visitors ask if the cars on display are all working, you will find the answer at the newsstands with the March issue of RuoteClassiche, with an unmissable article by Saverio Villa and the photographic reportage by Alessandro Barteletti.

For you a preview of some #backstage pictures taken by Pietro and Elisabetta Cozzi.

The 156 was designed by Walter da Silva who, after convincing with GTV, Spider and 145, obtained an international consensus with the 156.

Saloon, three volumes, compact made harmonious by the rounded lines, a design that stands out from the other saloons designed for the family like the 155,145,146 that had not achieved the success they had hoped for. The interior maintains the same elagance, to guarantee maximum comfort to the driver thanks to the instrumentation oriented towards the cockpit, which is the result of an accurate ergonomic study. Stylistic consistency and attention to detail also in the position of the handles integrated in the line, which lengthen the profile of the car.

But we don't want to tell you any more, you'll find everything on the 156 on the next issue of #ruoteclassiche
