one museum per minute, the museimpresa clock

One museum per minute for the adi installation: we are among the best!

A chicken with eggs on a blue background for the Barilla Historical Archive, a print for the Ferragamo Museum and the unmistakable character with the logo head for Casa Martini.

February has been an exciting month for us because the colours of the Fratelli Cozzi Museum have become part of the Museimpresa's Un Museo al minuto project, an installation-clock dedicated to Italian business museums at the ADI Design Museo Compasso d'oro.

The initiative takes its name from the decision to dedicate to each museum exactly one minute, not one second less, on the dial of the giant clock presented with Assolombarda and Museimpresathe Italian association of Archives and Business Museums founded in 2001 by Assolombarda and Confindustria. which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2021.

A total of 110 museums and business archives are enhanced by the installation designed by NEO and built around a series of identity images: just like those listed at the beginning of this article.

As in a futurist manifesto, the movement is the link between tradition and the new: the second hand and the rhythmic scanning of the pendulum represent the interpenetration of past, present and future, like a warning never to lose sight of one's own history (aimed at companies, of course, but also at society as a whole).

The initiative doesn't end with the clock: on Assolombarda and Museimpresa's social channels with the hashtag #unmuseoalminuto the social channels of Assolombarda and Museimpresa, with the hashtag #unmuseoalminuto (a museum in the minute), feature the contents of the museums and business archives involved in the initiative.

The design of our dial as it appears in the 60-second installation dedicated to the Museum.

"In the archives and museums of Italian companies, the heritage of manufacturing knowledge and quality of services is preserved and told. - said our beloved president of Museimpresa, Antonio Calabrò - It is the archives and company museums that work on the custody of memory as a lever for historical awareness and the relaunch of company values. Here, past history is not nostalgia but an engine of transformation".

Here's our director Elisabetta taking the pictures: she didn't have to wait for 110 museums to pass by to see ours because it appeared as soon as she joined ADI but - she said - she then stayed to see them all!
