Happy Birthday Alfa Romeo: Our gift to you
24 June, 2020
110 years of history deserve an important celebration and a great gift. The Fratelli Cozzi Museum has decided to inaugurate on this occasion the new site and to open its own archive which will now also be available online.

The new website of the Fratelli Cozzi Museum is online from Wednesday 24th June, completely renewed in terms of graphics and contents.Information, curiosities, events and routes shared with companies, schools and universities are now more accessible thanks to the new graphic concept designed and edited by Andrea Cairati , which has made navigation more exciting and intuitive.

But there's more: the new site hides a "precious drawer" that keeps theARCHIVE available online!

We have worked for over two years to transform the precious collection of materials and documents that Pietro Cozzi has kept for many years into an organized and easily accessible archive. Part of this material has also been made available online to share knowledge and passion with the public. Thanks to Marta Bianchi, professional archivist who has proceeded with the organization, who with her great work has made it possible to organize, digitize and catalogue the archival material and to the photographer Francesco Morello for the work of digitizing the photographic material. A heartfelt thanks also to FIDEURAM, main sponsor of the museum that has always supported and supported us.

"Will it be available to the public?" you ask us, and we're happy to give you an affirmative answer. There are thousands of files available and, thanks to digitisation and a methodical organisation of the contents, today over 1000 photographs and 300 communication posters are directly accessible, enriching the collection of the 60 Alfa Romeo cars in the Museum. It is also possible to browse through the lists of documents kept and, once the desired contents have been found, students, researchers and journalists can contact the museum staff to view the material directly in the Cozzi.Lab, "the brain of the museum".

This is the gift we wanted to share with the public that continues to show great love for the historic brand of the Biscione in all latitudes. To date, our visitors have come from 25 countries and web followers embrace all continents.

There are many people we have to thank for the achievement of this goal, starting from Cristiano Animosi and Simone Merli of Codex for the realization of the online archive. A dutiful and heartfelt thanks also goes to all the companies and people who, by organizing an event at the Museum, have supported the work of digitization and archiving.
