The fourth edition of ME CAR LEGNAN, the initiative proposed by the Legnano administration, which the Fratelli Cozzi Museum also enthusiastically joined, has come to an end. We can only thank, in addition to the Administration, all the visitors who took part, giving excellent reviews of their experience. On the occasion of Father's Day, the Fratelli Cozzi Museum welcomed its visitors with cake and coffee, while for the special opening in April we launched the initiative "Album di Famiglia con Alfa" (Family album with Alfa) to support the photographic vocation of Legnano.

The Me Car Legnan calendar offers many initiatives, all of which are free of charge, to discover the city's points of interest from unusual perspectives that reveal the beauty that surrounds us every day. The guided tour organised by our friend Enzo Mari for TurismoSempione, entitled "LIBERTY IN LEGNANO: PALAZZO MALINVERNI, VILLA JUCKER, AREA CANTONI E PONTE DELL'ACQUA"was a great success.

Also surprising was this year's new entry, a visit to theBarbara Melzi Institute in Legnano, the heart of Legnano education for over a century, which opened its doors with guided tours of the library and the works of art kept there.

Guided tours include those organised at PARCO EX-ILA AND PARCO DEI RONCHI, L'OLONA NEI SECOLI, PARCO ALTO MILANESE, CASTELLO VISCONTEO DI LEGNANO.

The Fratelli Cozzi Museum closes its doors just long enough for a pit stop, ready to be on track again on Sunday 9 April for the FAI special opening!

"The results of this fourth edition are for me a wonderful example of the love that the people of Legnano feel for their city, of their desire to rediscover what symbolises the social, cultural and artistic history of Legnano. Many citizens were excluded from the visits because of the numerous 'sell-outs'. We are thinking of proposing some visits again next May. We will try. Thanks are essential," adds Silvestri, "because everyone has contributed with fantastic passion and generosity. We must remember the sponsors (the BCC in primis, F.lli Cozzi, Domodry), Turismo Sempione, the volunteer guides without whom much of this would not have been possible, the Barbara Melzi Institute, Elisabetta and Pietro Cozzi, the friends of Arte e Storia, Parco ex Ila, Archivio Fotografico Italiano, FaLeFoto, TTSLL, Scuole Carducci. But not only: Luca Cazzola of Wikipedia, the ecological guards of the Parco Alto Milanese, the Condominio "Sempione 156". I would also like to remember the citizens who voted for Daniele Berti's idea "A little train through history" in the Bilancio Partecipativo, the Franco Tosi managers, STIE, all the municipal employees who were involved, especially those in the Culture Office. Thanks to all the people of Legnano and beyond, whose participation made Me car Legnan a success.

A new tourist guide dedicated to the city's places of art and environmental values will soon be published, as announced by the Legnano administration, along a route divided into 13 stages, in anticipation of experiencing the emotions of "Me car Legnan 5" in person.
