CULTURE
What do they have in common?
09 April, 2019
What do a home Sunday and a trip out of town have in common? and the Marche region with Lombardy? Three names: Frau, Buratti and Alfa Romeo.

The journey is an experience that renews the amazement of discovery and we Alfisti know it well. We start with a destination and end directly in one or more stories. This is what happened during our trip to Jesi. As anticipated (click here), we took part in the Brand Festival 2019 where Elisabetta intervened by telling our answer to the question: "Who said that you can't eat with culture?" .

The panel, led by Patrizia Musso, was attended by Barbara Foglia del Mumac, Michela Antiga of the Tipoteca, Romina Quarchioni and Simona Cardinali of the Civic Museums of Jesi. From the sharing of experiences emerged a cultural framework in lively ferment where the Museums become places of experience, transversal to the territorial data, in which the common denominator is the sharing and the desire to grow an increasingly passionate and demanding public.

But what made us think a lot is how a trip hundreds of kilometers away from us allowed us to meet realities with which we have a lot in common. We wanted to follow this red thread (Alfa?) and we found objects, stories, places that we wanted to know better. But as always we have to start from what is close to us.

Very close, like the name of the architects Oscar and Gabrielle Buratti who have created the design concept of the Fratelli Cozzi Museum characterizing it with three colors: red, black and white. We are very proud of the collaboration that binds us to them and we follow their achievements with admiration, that's why we knew of their collaboration with Frau Armchair for which they have created the Naidei sofa to which is added the new project "SanBabila", presented at the Salone del Mobile 2019.

But coincidences don't end there.

Poltrona Frau is, like us, part of Museimpresa and do you know where his museum is? We'll tell you: in Tolentino in the province of Macerata, a few kilometres away from Jesi. With the help of our friend Raffaella Tonacchera, whom we thank immensely, we reached the Frau Museum welcomed by the extraordinary Eleonora Vissani. It was through their history that we found many common points. One of these will closely interest our alfisti friends even if we are sure that, at this point in history, some of them will have already intuited what it is about.

Yes, Poltrona Frau boasts, among its prestigious partnerships, a collaboration with Alfa Romeo for which it has created the interior of the 8 C "in reddish leather that matches perfectly with the rigid carbon shell". But that's not all.

Brera Italia Independent also sees the collaboration with Poltrona Frau who has created the black leather saddlery with red stitching.

So dear friends, whether you choose the sofa as a friend on your Sundays or Alfa Romeo as a travel companion, you can always find some detail that makes you think a little bit about us. But let us advise you never to stop traveling, because you would miss the opportunity to live beautiful experiences like the one we had at the Brand Festival in Jesi.
