The time of passion

28 May, 2018

How much time do we devote to our alfista passion? It is not easy to define it, but with the help of the students of the Istituto Dell'Acqua in Legnano, it will certainly be easier.

New stages of the alternating school-work route that the Museum has undertaken with the Istituto Carlo dell'Acqua in Legnano. Many of you will remember the extraordinary opening organized by the students and dedicated to the "young" public. An experiment that engaged the students in a truly extraordinary teamwork: studying new topics, working in synergy, talking to a microphone and, last but not least, talking to an audience of alfisti experts. We are satisfied with the commitment shown and who knows, maybe we have raised other young alfisti of tomorrow.

The students did not just manage the visit, they designed and created a calendar at the Museum. They took photos, searched for phrases dedicated to the automotive world, edited it and finally printed it. The calendar will be on sale during the Christmas holidays and, if you wish, you can add it to your Alfa Romeo gifts.

"When I see an Alfa Romeo, I take my hat off. (Henry Ford)"

On Tuesday 29th May the Museum returned the visit, with a meeting held by Elisabetta Cozzi to the students who are preparing for the Business Culture Week. In November, in fact, together with many peers from all over Italy, the students will participate in the national project promoted by MuseimpresaLab. During the meeting Elisabetta illustrated the history of the Museum, the strategies and, above all, she wanted to convey the message that one has to believe in one's own ideas, even when they seem "original", how to open a physical museum in a world increasingly oriented towards the "virtual".

In November each of them will tell the story of the car or the subject chosen, making the experience of visiting the Museum unique and personal. The occasion was also a great opportunity to collect the comments of the children (aged between 16 and 18 years), here is a small overview:

Sarah: I really like the story collected by one person, the founder Pietro Cozzi.

Giorgia: I was struck by the fact that there are so many different events going on at the Museum.

Giulia: it was nice to experience the emotions that a physical place has transferred, which are a bit opposed to the virtual emotions of modern times.

Carmen: Every car has its own story!

Camilla: I find the Woman In Power project interesting

Filippo: I like the fact that I can add to the history of the Museum the Italian historical events

Nicola: beautiful "the wow effect" and the emotions it creates

Elisa: I already have microphone anxiety!

A special thanks goes to all the teachers who have collaborated and assisted the work of the students, always making themselves available and in particular to Professor Tiziana Fiori, coordinator of the project.
