Ssshhhh it's a secret!
25 January, 2020

We are ready to tell you a secret that unites what we love most: Women, the Museum ... and the City.

An author's preview for the Museum's friends, to whom we wanted to reveal a "secret" that fills us with pride, namely participation in Museo City 2020, an initiative promoted by the City of Milan and realised in collaboration with the Museo City Association. The aim of this initiative is to enhance the history and beauty of the museums in the Milan metropolitan area, and this year's edition will focus on a theme that is particularly dear to us: 'Women protagonists in the various fields of art. From the female figures portrayed over the centuries to women artists, as well as women active in the promotion of art and in top positions within museums and in art structures in general."
The appointment is scheduled for March 6th, 7th and 8th and, thanks to the appointment with the International Conference at the Royal Palace, we will have the opportunity to confront ourselves with over 80 museums, foundations and archives enriching our knowledge and renewing our enthusiasm to experience the Museum as a living and dynamic place where, each of us, is a "piece of the Museum".

The program is being perfected day after day, but we can tell you that we have planned an extraordinary opening of the Museum that will have as guests two extraordinary women at the helm of prestigious museums such as Mariella Mengozzi director of the Mauto and Silvia Nicolis of Nicolis Museum.

And since one of the mottos of the Museum is "Women and Motors... joy and joy!" we have dedicated a promotion with free tickets for the ladies... and their companions. We advise you to book your ticket now, because we plan to go sold out right after the official announcement.

"Art does not reproduce what is visible, but makes visible what is not always visible. (Paul Klee)"

We really love Paul Klee's phrase because it represents what we have been doing for over 10 years with the Woman In Power movement (remember that the Museum is the home of WIP), that is to say telling the binomial "women and motors" coming out of the stereotypes that are often reduced to a mere display of vulgarity. We tell what women are already out of the media clamor and, also for this reason, we accepted with pleasure the proposal to be among the Secret Museums of the Metropolitan City.

The participating museums will present something "secret" related to the theme chosen for this edition and we have chosen to tell the elegance with which women and motors can be combined.

For now we have really revealed a lot of things to you, so we are sure you will allow us to keep a few more mysteries that we will tell you in the near future on our social channels... keep following us.
